Concrete Poetry

Students love when their poems crystallize into something more than words on a page. Attached is just an example I wrote to encourage students. I always provide models of what I am looking for as well as student samples pointing out that they are unique, and no two poems will be the same. 

We would then examine published concrete poems and interpret what the author is saying.
